My name is Lillias. I am a graphic designer and musician living in Glasgow.

In 2011 I received a 1st from London School of the Arts (LCC) in Design for Visual Communication.

Print making, design and music are different methods of communication yet they share a similar creative process. Each compliments and informs the other. The majority of my graphics work is within the Arts and Third Sector and I regularly design for the National Museums Scotland and for many within the music business. Social and environmental awareness shapes all my work and I have a personal interest in design activism as well as travel.

In 2013 I spent a month cycling in Cuba visiting screen printing studios. Cuban screen printed poster art hugely influences my my own work; as does the constraints of screen printing itself, which I find particularly liberating. I have recently returned from two months cycling in south India and I am currently working on a series of prints influenced by Indian folk literature and the ‘Jataka tales’. The first in the series  is the “Hare in the Moon”.

I look forward to talking creatively with you.
